Oregon State Credit Union has recycled and distributed 35 computer stations to better accommodate the Elementary Technology Lab at the Boys and Girls Club of Corvallis.

Boys and Girls Club of Corvallis CEO Helen Higgins said, “Because technology moves so quickly and requires more computing power, the desktop computers donated from the credit union will help our youth learn the most up-to-date programs and applications. This generous donation will support our internet safety program, keyboarding skills class and our hardware literacy project. We appreciate the strong partnership we have year-round with Oregon State Credit Union.”

Oregon State Credit Union AVP for Public Relations and Business Development Mike Corwin said, “The opportunity to meet the technological needs of the youth in our field of membership through the recycling of our computer inventory is extremely rewarding.”

Oregon State Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, open to anyone who lives or works in 24 western and central Oregon counties. Learn more about Oregon State Credit Union.
