Born a Beaver, Proud to Give Back on Dam Proud Day 2026
On April 29, the Oregon State University community came together for Dam Proud Day 2026, delivering a record-breaking show of generosity. With more than 12,400 gifts totaling $4.1 million in just 24 hours, Beaver Nation rallied to support programs that drive student success across OSU.

Connecting with the community at the Dam Proud Day Street Fair
Oregon State Credit Union was proud to sponsor the Dam Proud Day Street Fair at the Student Experience Center Plaza in Corvallis, where students, faculty, and community members gathered to celebrate.
Our team enjoyed spending the day connecting with Beaver Nation, sharing conversations, and celebrating the energy that makes Oregon State University so special.
A highlight of the day was welcoming OSU Women’s Soccer player Abby Smith to our booth for a meet-and-greet and soccer ball signing. As the official sponsor of OSU Women’s Soccer, it was a fun and meaningful way to connect with students and celebrate Beaver pride.
Supporting OSU students through giving challenges
As part of our commitment to education access and student success, Oregon State Credit Union sponsored two key Dam Proud Day 2026 giving challenges:
- Finish in Four Fund Challenge
Once $50,000 was raised for the Finish in Four Fund, we contributed an additional $5,000 to help students overcome financial barriers and graduate on time. - Oregon State Credit Union Double Your Dollar Challenge
When 2,500 donors made gifts on Dam Proud Day, another $5,000 was unlocked for the Finish in Four Fund—reinforcing that every gift makes a difference.
Both challenges were successfully met, helping build momentum throughout the day and encouraging participation across the Oregon State community.
Advancing student success at Oregon State University
Dam Proud Day continues to grow each year, bringing together supporters from across the country and around the world. In 2026, donors from all 50 states contributed to more than 250 funds—with over 80% directly benefiting students.
Programs like the Finish in Four initiative help ensure students have the resources they need to stay on track, graduate on time, and successfully launch their careers.
