Oregon State Credit Union promotes Jim Gibson to Chief Operations Officer

Corvallis, OR – Jim Gibson has been named Chief Operations Officer (COO). Jim has been with Oregon State Credit Union for 19 ½ years and held a number of roles beginning with the Branch Manager of the Financial Center, and in his current role as SVP Branch Services for thirteen years.

Jim has been a pivotal leader at Oregon State Credit Union, responsible for directing, organizing, and planning operations across all branches, the Contact Center, and Centralized Lending, with a focus on delivering an exceptional member experience. His contributions include guiding the development of deposit and lending products, collaborating with the executive leadership team to drive organizational growth, and overseeing major initiatives like the conversion to a State Charter and the launch of new branches. Additionally, Jim’s leadership extended to the successful launch of key projects, including managing the Rewards Checking product and spearheading the Oregon State Credit Union Insurance Agency.
