*It’s easy to get your $300
- Open the checking account of your choice. (Members under 18 years of age, businesses, trusts, members with existing checking accounts or who have had a checking account within the previous 12 months are not eligible for bonus).
- Within 60 days of opening, set up a recurring direct deposit of at least $500 each month.
- Have at least 2 total direct deposits within 4 months of opening your account.
- That’s it! Your $300 will be deposited into your basic savings account within the 5th calendar month of opening your account. Every Oregon State Credit Union membership comes with a free basic savings, so you’ll get immediate access to your deposited funds.

- If you’re already a member of Oregon State Credit Union: You’ll need a one-time minimum deposit of $25 to open a Value Checking account. After your account is open, there is no minimum balance requirement and no monthly account service fee if you sign up for estatements.
- If you are not yet a member of Oregon State Credit Union, you’ll need two things:
- A one-time minimum deposit of $25 to open your Value Checking account
- A Basic Savings account with a minimum deposit of $5

- At ATMs owned by Oregon State Credit Union, transactions are free and unlimited. Plus, our members can access their accounts at more than 33,000 ATMs nationwide through the Co-Op network. Find an ATM near you.
- At Co-Op network ATMs not owned by Oregon State Credit Union, members get six transactions per month free of charge. For seven or more transactions per month, members may be charged a $1.50 fee per transaction depending on their Member Merits category.

- To open a Value Checking account, you must be 18 or older and have valid, government-issued identification.
- Our Teen Checking is for members 17 years old and younger and is a great option with the same benefits of a Value Checking account, including no monthly service fees.
