Q: How do you open a Teen Checking account?

A: If you’re a parent or guardian: Visit your preferred branch to open a Teen Checking account. A parent or legal guardian must be a joint owner of the account until the student turns 18 years old.

A: If you’re a teen: Talk with your parent or legal guardian and arrange a time to visit your preferred branch to open your account. Teen Checking is for members 18 years old and younger. It has the same benefits as Free Checking. Teen members are required to have a parent or legal guardian as a joint owner of the account until the member reaches age 18.

A: If you’re already a member: A one-time minimum deposit of $25 to open a Teen Checking account.
