Nomination process for the Board and Supervisory committees
As a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, Oregon State Credit Union is governed by a Board of Directors who are elected by and from its membership to three year terms. The Board of Directors is the cornerstone of governance, providing strategic direction and monitoring risks and control systems. The Credit Union and its members are best served with a diverse group of Board Members offering a range of skills, business experience, community involvement and knowledge of financial services.
In addition to the Board of Directors, Oregon State Credit Union is also served by a Supervisory Committee made up of members appointed by the Board of Directors to serve three year terms. Credit Union Supervisory Committee members serve as a kind of watchdog for the members, ensuring the Credit Union’s financial records are in order and that internal controls are in place to protect the assets of the Credit Union and its members.
