Health Savings Account (HSA)

A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a savings account that is designed for members who are covered by a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). It is an individually-owned account that can be used to pay for health expenses and build savings for future qualified medical health expenses on a tax-free basis. Consult your tax professional for details. You, your employer or another person can make contributions on your behalf. See disclosures, rates and fees.
