Business membership account eligibility and documents

Any business can become a member of Oregon State Credit Union if one of the following criteria is met:

  • Any business (regardless of location) where the signer(s) are eligible for membership in their own right

  • Any business that is located in the following counties: Benton, Clackamas, Clatsop, Columbia, Coos, Crook, Curry, Deschutes, Douglas, Hood River, Jackson, Jefferson, Josephine, Klamath, Lane, Lincoln, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Tillamook, Washington, Wasco, Yamhill.

  • Any business of a current member (regardless of location)

Business services account types and balances are not included in calculating an individual’s Member Merits category.

Important documents

Depending on your business type, the following documents are needed to open your membership.

  • Sole Proprietor: Copy of your business license or assumed business name that’s been filed with the State of Oregon and your federal tax ID number or social security number

  • Partnership: Copies of the partnership agreement, business license or assumed business name, and federal tax ID number

  • Limited Liability Company: Copies of the LLC agreement, articles of organization, business license or assumed business name, and federal tax ID number

  • Corporation: Copies of the articles of incorporation, assumed business name and federal tax ID number
